Overview

Seeking a MEDITECH Client/Server Clinical Applications Analyst to support, maintain, test, and enhance clinical MEDITECH applications and workflows. The role will work closely with nursing, clinical informatics, end users, vendors, and technical teams to troubleshoot issues, implement enhancements, and support EHR operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and maintain MEDITECH Client/Server EHR and clinical applications.
• Support modules including OE, POM, PCS, NUR, PCM, PDOC, RXM, and ERX.
• Support Order Management, Clinical Documentation, Medication Reconciliation, Patient Tracking, and Discharge workflows.
• Maintain MEDITECH dictionaries, configurations, and application build.
• Support Intellidose and its integration with MEDITECH.
• Collaborate with nursing and clinical informatics teams to optimize clinical workflows.
• Provide end-user, application, and technical support, including after-hours/on-call support.
• Troubleshoot application issues, manage vendor escalations, and track tickets through resolution.
• Gather requirements and translate clinical/business needs into system enhancements.
• Perform unit, integration, and system testing for application changes, upgrades, and implementations.
• Participate in MEDITECH implementations, upgrades, break/fix, enhancements, and maintenance.
• Document requirements, build activities, testing results, system changes, and support procedures.
• Follow change management and version control processes.
• Manage multiple initiatives while maintaining strong communication with users, clients, vendors, and project teams.
• Use ServiceNow or similar ticket-management tools for issue tracking.

Required Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of MEDITECH Client/Server EHR application support and analysis experience.
• Hands-on experience with MEDITECH build, configuration, testing, implementation, and troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting MEDITECH clinical modules such as OE, POM, PCS, NUR, PCM, PDOC, RXM, and ERX.
• Strong understanding of clinical workflows, nursing/provider processes, and healthcare operations.
• Experience with MEDITECH Client/Server 5.66+ is a plus.
• Experience participating in MEDITECH upgrades is preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, documentation, and customer-service skills.
• Healthcare industry experience is required.
• Experience with ServiceNow is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent education/experience.
