Senior Quality Analyst / QA Tester
Location: Remote, USA · Experience: 7+ Years · Contract: 6–12 Months

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Quality Analyst to ensure software applications meet business requirements and quality standards through comprehensive testing and defect management.
Responsibilities
Review business requirements and identify test scenarios.
Develop test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test data.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
Execute test cases and document results.
Log, track, prioritize, and retest defects using Jira or similar tools.
Collaborate with developers, Business Analysts, and Product Owners.
Support UAT and release validation.
Maintain test evidence, quality metrics, and test documentation.
Required Skills
7+ years of experience in software quality assurance or testing.
Strong experience with manual testing and test case design.
Knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle.
Experience with Jira, Zephyr, TestRail, or similar testing tools.
Understanding of Agile/Scrum delivery.
Strong analytical, documentation, and troubleshooting skills.
Experience testing web-based or enterprise applications.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
API testing using Postman or REST clients.
SQL for database validation.
Experience with CI/CD and automated testing frameworks.
ISTQB certification or equivalent QA training.
