We are seeking a senior-level Android Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in designing and building e-commerce applications for the Android platform. This role involves ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications while collaborating with a team to define, design, and ship new features.

 

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design and build e-commerce applications for the Android platform.
  2. Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  3. Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features.
  4. Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
  5. Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
  6. Lead and mentor junior developers.

 

Required Qualifications

Experience: 5+ years of experience in mobile application development, including a proven track record of designing and developing a complete Android app from top to bottom.

 

Technical Skills:

  1. Android app development with Kotlin.
  2. GraphQL and REST API integration.
  3. Expert knowledge of Java, the JDK, and the Android SDK.
  4. Advanced Android UI Skills (Fragments, Custom view components).
  5. Experience writing multi-threaded and networked applications.
  6. Expert level debugging and analysis skills using ADB.
  7. Experience with the application submission/provisioning process.
  8. Expert knowledge of IntelliJ or Android Studio.
  9. Web Services experience as it relates to mobile apps.
  10. Experience with protocol buffers.
