Job Description:

We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join our data science team, focusing on functional testing and test automation using Playwright with Python. This role is ideal for candidates passionate about quality assurance who are eager to contribute to the testing of data-driven applications and systems.

You will work alongside data scientists, engineers, and product stakeholders to validate the quality, reliability, and functionality of web applications, dashboards, and APIs that support machine learning models and data analytics workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform functional, regression, and integration testing for web-based and data-driven applications.
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright with Python.
Collaborate closely with data science teams to test features involving data models, analytics tools, and visualizations.
Validate the accuracy and integrity of data presented through UI and APIs.
Report, track, and manage defects using standard QA tools (e.g., JIRA).
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience in functional testing of web applications.
Hands-on expertise with Playwright automation using Python.
Solid understanding of software QA methodologies and testing processes.
Familiarity with data validation, structured datasets (CSV, JSON), and REST APIs.
Ability to work collaboratively with developers and data scientists.
Experience with version control (e.g., Git) and bug tracking tools.
