Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Program Manager with strong expertise in Supply Planning and Demand Planning to lead strategic planning initiatives, process transformation, and cross-functional programs across the supply chain organization. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing end-to-end planning processes, driving business improvements, and implementing planning solutions that enhance forecast accuracy, inventory optimization, and service levels.
The Program Manager will work closely with business stakeholders, supply chain teams, IT, and executive leadership to deliver planning programs and ensure alignment between demand forecasts, supply plans, production, procurement, and inventory strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Program & Project Management
- Lead large-scale Supply Chain Planning programs from initiation through deployment and post-implementation support.
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, and resource plans.
- Manage risks, dependencies, issues, and stakeholder communications.
- Drive Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid project delivery methodologies.
- Provide regular program status updates to leadership and steering committees.
Demand Planning
- Lead demand planning processes and forecast management initiatives.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams to improve forecast accuracy.
- Support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes.
- Analyze forecast trends, seasonality, promotions, and demand drivers.
- Establish KPIs and reporting mechanisms for demand planning performance.
Supply Planning
- Develop and optimize supply planning strategies to balance demand, inventory, and production capacity.
- Coordinate with manufacturing, procurement, logistics, and distribution teams.
- Drive inventory optimization initiatives while maintaining target service levels.
- Manage capacity planning, replenishment planning, and inventory management processes.
- Support scenario planning and supply risk mitigation activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor''s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- 10+ years of Supply Chain Planning experience.
- 5+ years of Program or Project Management experience.
- Strong expertise in both Demand Planning and Supply Planning.
- Experience leading S&OP and IBP initiatives.
- Proven experience managing global or enterprise-wide planning programs.
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
- Experience with planning tools and ERP systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP, PgMP, Agile, Scrum, or Prince2 certification.
- APICS/ASCM certifications (CPIM, CSCP).
- Experience in Manufacturing, Consumer Goods, Retail, Life Sciences, Healthcare, or High-Tech industries.
- Experience with cloud-based planning solutions and digital transformation programs.
