What the work looks like
You’ll define and enforce quality expectations across the project using established quality management standards. That starts in the engineering phase, setting specifications and defining equipment criticality.
You’ll review and endorse quality plans from engineering, fabrication, and construction partners, making sure expectations are clear before work begins. You’ll also support procurement efforts, helping evaluate vendors based on quality criteria and participating in bid reviews.
During fabrication and construction, you’ll be in the field. Conducting inspections, reviewing workmanship, validating test data, and making sure everything meets project standards. When issues come up, you’ll manage non-conformance reporting and drive resolution.
You’ll also handle coordination across third-party interfaces where specifications may not align, ensuring quality expectations are consistent across the project.
At the end of the project, you’ll ensure documentation is complete and organized for final turnover.
This role requires someone who can take ownership of quality from start to finish, communicate clearly across teams, and stay on top of details without losing sight of the bigger picture.
At iSphere, we look for people who can step into critical roles and bring structure, accountability, and follow-through. If you’ve led quality on large energy projects and know how to keep standards high across multiple partners, this one will fit.
