Lockheed Martin Space is seeking an RF Systems Engineering Senior Manager to join our team in Littleton, CO! Responsibilities for leading the RF Systems Engineering team include but are not limited to:

Leading a highly skilled team on architecting and designing of Radio Frequency systems and circuitry.
The oversight of all activities related development, production, and sustainment across programs
Managing staffing, training, and development of those on the RF Systems team, including, but not limited to:
o Workforce management (re-assignments and placements, recruitment and selection of new employees and terminations)
o Personnel management (training, mentoring, career development, performance and compensation, and promotions).
Management of your team's complex technical projects, by practicing effective project management problem resolution and risk management techniques.
Collaboration with LOBs, Other E&T Talent Centers, Operations, other Business Units, and Industry.

The ideal candidate will:
Be a proven leader with prior skills and experience managing multi-disciplinary engineering teams
Have a good understanding of RF system development, including cost and schedule drivers for program execution, while driving innovative and creative solutions.
Be expected to support communications with all levels of employees, customers, and industry from engineer up to executive.

Basic Qualifications

Experience leading technical teams and technical integration projects
Technical RF knowledge
Experience in IPT leadership, with understanding of Cost and Schedule

Security Clearance / Work Authorization:
To meet requirements of the program/customer, this position requires the selected employee to ====.
Prior to starting employment, selected candidates will be required to possess Secret clearance. For this position, applicants must possess a currently active Secret security clearance to be considered.
Selected candidates will be required to obtain, and maintain, Top Secret with adjudicated SCI Eligibility (TS/SCI) for long term employment on this program.

Desired skills

Cost Account Management (CAM) experience
5+ years' experience leading technical teams & 3+ years of functional management experience
Demonstrated communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical and programmatic issues to subordinates, peers, management and customers.
Ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities in a highly dynamic, high tempo environment.
Demonstrated commitment to the development of others.
Demonstrated ability to build, maintain and coach a team, which includes the execution and evolution of a business rhythm that effectively communicates and achieves program objectives and priorities.
Experience as a leader of leaders
Bachelor's Electrical Engineering degree, or equivalent with RF coursework and/or experience
Experience in Systems Engineering within the Aerospace industry
Ability to quickly understand Mission Concepts of Operations (CONOPS)
Experience with Strategic Roadmap development
Demonstrated technical depth in RF hardware, RF electronics, or related Electrical Engineering discipline
Experience as Certified Principal Engineer (CPE), Responsible Systems Engineer (RSE) or industry equivalent
Experience as Control Account Manager (CAM) or industry equivalent
Experience in Risk and Opportunity Management
Experience leading rigorous failure analysis via formal failure review boards
Experience developing and reviewing proposals
Possess a currently active TS/SCI security clearance

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $170,900 - $301,415. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $196,600 - $340,745. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
