Job Summary:
Seeking a senior Database Engineer/DBA with strong PostgreSQL and IBM DB2 experience to support enterprise database environments within a RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) x86 hosting environment. The role focuses on performance optimization, high-availability configurations, SQL tuning, and database migrations between Postgres and DB2 platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Database performance tuning and optimization
Implement high-availability and replication solutions
SQL query tuning and indexing strategies
Support Postgres DB2 migrations
Ensure database reliability, security, and data integrity
Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams
Required:
10+ years PostgreSQL & DB2 experience
Strong RHEL/Linux background
U.S. Citizenship required
Must have or be eligible for MBI clearance
Preferred: Federal IT environment experience
