Job Description
We are seeking a QA / Release Manager IV to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in release and environment management, CI/CD, and cross-functional coordination and a proven ability to plan and execute reliable releases across multiple environments.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee integration and flow of development, testing, and deployment across environments.
- Plan and manage releases, including features and enhancements, from QA through post-production.
- Coordinate release plans and deployments with Agile squads and program teams.
- Support deployments, monitor issues, and ensure effective environment management.
- Liaise with QA, Production Support, Development, Agile practitioners, Product Owners, and business stakeholders to define environment needs and build release plans.
- Enforce release management standards and governance to ensure successful releases.
- Contribute to strategy for the Release and Environment team.
- Drive and coordinate deployment of code and infrastructure changes while maintaining environment consistency and availability.
- Cultivate strong working relationships across IT functions.
- Monitor and guarantee uptime of environments with appropriate controls and reporting.
- Identify, assess, manage, monitor, and report risk within the Bank's risk appetite.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in release and environment management, test environment control, and configuration management.
- Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration tools and pipelines.
- Experience collaborating with QA, Production Support, and Development teams.
- Background working with Agile and Waterfall delivery teams.
- Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills.
- Experience level: 5+ years in release, environment, or configuration management roles.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with enterprise-scale transformations and complex multi-team release trains.
- Familiarity with CI/CD platforms and environment automation tools.
