Oracle SOA Consultant / Senior Oracle Fusion Middleware Developer
Location: Onsite 59 Maiden Lane, New York, NY 10038
Schedule: 35 Hours/Week
Duration: 2-Year Contract (Approx. 1800 Hours/Year)
Max Rate for Subcontractors: $110/hr
The consultant will join an Oracle Fusion Middleware team supporting the Citywide Payments and Receivables Repository, a mission-critical platform that processes real-time payment transactions for multiple NYC agencies.
This role involves a combination of ongoing production support, system enhancements, and development of new capabilities for large-scale payment processing applications.
Responsibilities
Develop new functions and capabilities within Oracle Fusion Middleware applications
Enhance and maintain existing payment processing systems
Provide complex production support, including troubleshooting payment issues and supporting deployments
Ensure best practices and operational efficiency across systems
Guide and mentor team members on Oracle SOA technologies
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver reliable solutions
Support logging, auditing, and transaction processing functionalities for real-time systems
Required Skills & Experience
Strong experience with Oracle SOA Suite and Oracle Fusion Middleware
Experience supporting enterprise-level transactional/payment processing systems
Expertise in web services, integrations, and middleware technologies
Strong troubleshooting and production support experience
Ability to work in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with government or public sector environments
Knowledge of real-time payment systems and high-volume transaction processing
Experience overseeing deployments and recovery procedures
