Job Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site technical support for Dell PowerEdge and other enterprise server hardware.

  • Perform BIOS and firmware updates and use server management tools such as Dell iDRAC, HPE iLO, or equivalent platforms.
  • Execute reactive break/fix support and preventive maintenance according to established procedures.
  • Work directly with customers and internal technical teams to communicate service status, resolve issues, and escalate complex problems when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate service records, including diagnostics, troubleshooting steps, hardware replacements, and resolutions.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and provide extended support coverage as required.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise servers, data center hardware, or similar infrastructure.
  • Proven experience physically installing, diagnosing, repairing, removing, and replacing server hardware components.
  • Experience troubleshooting server components, including memory, CPUs, storage, power supplies, RAID/HBA, NICs, cooling systems, PCIe devices, or GPUs.
  • Experience working with rack-mounted enterprise servers in a data center, field service, or customer-facing environment.

  • Familiarity with Linux or similar operating systems.
  • Ability to independently diagnose hardware failures and resolve technical issues.
  • Strong customer service, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Dell PowerEdge servers.
  • Dell or other enterprise hardware certifications.
  • Experience with Dell iDRAC, HPE iLO, or comparable server management platforms.
  • Experience supporting GPU-based or AI server infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of data center operations, rack-and-stack, structured cabling, and server deployment.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.

Important Note
