Summary
Role:- Oracle CPQ Developer
Location- Remote / Irving, TX
Contract- Long term
Note: The client's office is in Irving, TX, and local candidates are preferred; but remote is fine as well. No expenses are expected for local commute to office. If remote consultants are asked to travel, expense will be covered.
POSITION GENERAL DUTIES AND TASKS :
Accountabilities
Participate in the hands-on build of the designed solution. Ensure all solutions are built to scale and work across various product lines
Participate in testing and deployment of CPQ solutions to develop and maintain a stable, efficient CPQ environment.
Scrutinize and review both existing and proposed solutions, with an emphasis on performance and stability.
Work with other team members to integrate CPQ with our Salesforce CRM, ERP, and other enterprise systems.
Provide troubleshooting and programming support for the current Flowserve applications running on Oracle CPQ.
Reinforce lessons learned through continual collaboration and refinement of solutions and ideas submitted by team members.
Basic Qualifications-
Minimum of 7 years of Oracle CPQ experience is required.
Experience with commerce flows within CPQ is highly desirable.
Knowledge and experience with the following languages: SQL, Java or C#, JavaScript, JQuery, XML/XSL, BML.
Understanding of efficient business processes within Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) domain preferable.
Experience with requirements and constraints related to heavy industry and the manufacturing process. This could range from basic material restrictions to complex lead-time calculations.
Ability to analyze business processes and develop systems/programs to support and improve them.
Experience with a wide variety of technology agnostic processes and tools
Exposure to any the following areas will be considered a plus: Enterprise CRM (Salesforce), Enterprise ERP (SAP, ERP Cloud, etc.), and Enterprise E-Commerce
Experience with SCRUM/Agile methodology
Experience with manufacturing and engineering processes/operations be nice to have.
Ability to support multiple, geographically diverse facilities.
Demonstrated, applied experience establishing and delivering complex projects.
Ability to communicate at all levels with clarity and precision, both written and verbally.
