Job Overview:
The candidate will serve as a Storage Security Engineer focusing on Linux security, system hardening, container security, and DevSecOps integration. The candidate will be responsible for securing containerized environments, managing vulnerability lifecycles, and embedding security tools directly into automated CI/CD pipelines.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate strong hands-on experience in Linux security, system hardening, and container security.
- Secure Docker containers and Kubernetes environments.
- Apply a strong understanding of authentication, authorization, access control, and identity management.
- Manage TLS/SSL, PKI, digital certificates, certificate lifecycle management, and secure communications.
- Implement API security, including authentication, authorization, input validation, and mitigation of common API vulnerabilities.
- Perform vulnerability management, CVE analysis, risk prioritization, and remediation.
- Utilize Software Composition Analysis (SCA) tools and generate or analyze Software Bill of Materials (SBOM).
- Apply SBOM standards such as SPDX and CycloneDX.
- Execute Static Application Security Testing (SAST) and Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST) tools for secure code analysis.
- Develop scripts or applications using Python, C, C++, Go, or Rust.
- Integrate security tools into CI/CD pipelines using DevSecOps best practices.
- Utilize Git-based workflows, automated builds, and security gates within CI/CD pipelines.
