Level 1 Technician (Entry-Level)

Job Description

We are seeking an entry-level Level 1 Technician to support installation work in a data center environment. This role is ideal for someone who may have limited telecom experience but brings a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and prior experience in physically demanding roles. The manager is focused on trainability, dependability, and consistent attendance rather than deep technical background.

Key Responsibilities

• Pull, route, and secure copper and fiber cabling throughout the data center
• Assemble, stack, and drill equipment racks
• Scan, label, and port equipment
• Assist senior technicians with general installation and support tasks as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Prior experience in a physically demanding environment (construction, trades, military, warehouse, or similar)
• Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn
• Dependable with a proven record of consistent attendance
• Ability to work in a fast-paced data center environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on electrical experience or military background
• Previous telecom or structured cabling experience (not required)

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
