Position Summary
4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Software Developers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise Java backend applications, REST/SOAP services, and distributed systems.
- Build scalable applications using Spring Framework, J2EE technologies, relational databases, and integration platforms.
- Develop unit and integration tests, perform code reviews, and ensure application quality, performance, and reliability.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams throughout the SDLC to deliver secure and maintainable software solutions.
Minimum Qualifications
The position requires:

Education
|
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience
|
8+ years of experience developing enterprise Java applications using Spring Framework, J2EE technologies, RESTful services, and relational databases.

Technical Skills
|
Java, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, J2EE, REST/SOAP Web Services, Oracle SQL, JUnit, Git/Jira
|
|
Business / Domain Skills
|
Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Agile Methodology, System Integration, Code Review, Technical Design, Problem Solving

Communication
|
Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.

Documentation
|
Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.

Work Authorization
|
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with frontend technologies such as React, Angular, or Node.js.
- Experience optimizing SQL performance and designing scalable enterprise applications.
- Strong leadership, mentoring, communication, and analytical skills.
