You'll work across heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, combining technical expertise with outstanding customer service. If you take pride in solving problems, delivering quality workmanship, and making buildings safer and more comfortable, this is your opportunity to make an impact.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC equipment, including air conditioning systems, heating systems, boilers, chillers, controls, motors, fans, and compressors.

Install, replace, and commission HVAC equipment and components in accordance with project specifications, manufacturer requirements, and applicable building codes.

Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and operational testing to improve system reliability, energy efficiency, and equipment life.

Calibrate equipment, sensors, thermostats, and controls to maintain accurate operation and system performance.

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to plan and complete service and installation work.

Identify mechanical, electrical, and control-related issues and recommend practical repair or replacement solutions.

Coordinate with construction teams, contractors, and customers to complete work safely and minimize disruption.

Explain system issues, service recommendations, and completed repairs clearly and professionally to customers.

Maintain accurate service records, inspection reports, maintenance logs, and equipment documentation.

Manage daily assignments, prioritize urgent service needs, and meet project and service deadlines without compromising quality.

Follow applicable safety procedures, refrigerant-handling requirements, and building codes while maintaining a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications

5+ years of hands-on HVAC service experience in construction, commercial building service, or a closely related environment.

Demonstrated repair, equipment installation, and preventive maintenance skills, or equivalent technical experience.

Strong mechanical knowledge and practical experience servicing air conditioning and heating systems, including boilers, chillers, controls, motors, fans, and compressors.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and equipment specifications.

Working knowledge of applicable building codes, HVAC installation standards, and safe work practices.

Experience using diagnostic instruments and performing equipment calibration, system testing, and troubleshooting.

Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly.

Excellent time management, organization, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively.

Relevant HVAC trade training, apprenticeship completion, technical certification, or equivalent combination of education and field experience.

Required trade licenses and refrigerant-handling certifications, where applicable.

Ability to safely perform the physical duties of the role, including accessing equipment, using ladders, and working in varied construction and mechanical-space conditions, with reasonable accommodation where applicable.
