Position Summary
4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Software Developers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:
Lead hands-on development across frontend applications, backend microservices, AI orchestration, integrations, and data-processing workflows, coordinating technical dependencies across Prepare, Scan, Remediation, and Monitor workstreams.
Design and implement AI-enabled applications using modern frontend frameworks, backend services, and agent orchestration patterns. Develop real-time dashboards, vulnerability visualizations, approval workflows, and executive reporting capabilities.
Lead the development of resilient APIs, event-driven services, and AI agent workflows, including authentication, retries, rate limiting, idempotency, structured outputs, model integrations, evaluation, guardrails, and observability.
Integrate cybersecurity platforms and enterprise tools while establishing secure coding standards, API contracts, automated testing, code review practices, performance benchmarks, and deployment readiness. Mentor engineers, resolve technical blockers, and collaborate with architecture, security, SRE, QA, and client stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications
The position requires:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience:
10+ years of experience in software development, including full-stack engineering, distributed systems, production application ownership, and hands-on technical leadership. Experience developing AI agents and integrating cybersecurity automation into enterprise applications is required.
Technical Skills:
TypeScript, Vue.js 3, React, Next.js, Python, FastAPI, Go, LangGraph, Large Language Models (LLMs), Distributed Systems
Business / Domain Skills:
Experience designing, developing, enhancing, and integrating enterprise applications, APIs, interfaces, workflows, batch processes, and data-processing components supporting government programs.
Experience supporting cybersecurity operations, including vulnerability discovery, security scanning, remediation workflows, security monitoring, and automation across enterprise technology environments.
Experience integrating security information and event management systems, vulnerability management platforms, code security tools, cloud services, identity systems, and software delivery workflows.
Experience delivering AI-enabled enterprise solutions involving automated security analysis, intelligent agent execution, approval workflows, risk visualization, and operational reporting while coordinating engineering, security, architecture, and business stakeholders.
Communication:
Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.
Documentation:
Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.
Work Authorization:
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications
Strong hands-on experience with Vue.js 3 and TypeScript, or React and Next.js, alongside backend development using Python, FastAPI, asynchronous programming, and Go microservices.
Experience building production-grade AI agents using LangGraph or custom agent loops, including tool execution, LLM function calling, structured outputs, evaluation, guardrails, model-agnostic gateways, and tracing.
Experience integrating platforms such as SIEM, Wiz, Tenable, Qualys, Checkmarx, GitHub, Jira, ServiceNow, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD systems, and IAM solutions. Strong mentoring, technical communication, troubleshooting, and cross-functional collaboration skills are essential.
