We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Manufacturing Engineer to join our fast-paced manufacturing team. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your knowledge of design, CAD, Solidworks, industrial equipment, PLC, electrical wiring, and schematics to improve our manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and improving our manufacturing systems and processes to meet the high-quality standards our clients expect. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry. If you are a problem solver who enjoys innovating and optimizing production processes, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and implement manufacturing processes to maintain proper product functionality as well as cost efficiency.
2. Ensure the engineering team and other manufacturing departments work synergistically to deliver quality control.
3. Use CAD, Solidworks, and other software tools to design and improve manufacturing systems and processes.
4. Manage and optimize the use of industrial equipment, ensuring safety, efficiency, and reliability.
5. Program and troubleshoot PLCs to ensure smooth and efficient operation of automated systems.
6. Design and implement electrical wiring systems for new and existing equipment, ensuring compliance with all relevant safety standards and regulations.
7. Create and interpret schematics for manufacturing systems, equipment, and processes.
8. Identify and implement improvements to reduce manufacturing costs and improve product quality and reliability.
9. Coordinate with other engineers, management, and the production team to implement new or improved manufacturing processes.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
3. Proficiency in CAD, Solidworks, and other engineering design software.
4. Extensive knowledge of industrial equipment, including maintenance and optimization.
5. Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting.
6. Proficient in designing and implementing electrical wiring systems.
7. Ability to create and interpret schematics for manufacturing systems, equipment, and processes.
8. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
9. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
10. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
11. A proactive attitude and a strong desire to improve existing systems and processes.
