StaffRight Associates is recruiting for a premier client seeking a highly skilled technical professional. This hybrid, 6 to 12-month contract opportunity in Charlotte, NC, centers on transforming enterprise workforce management and payroll platforms through intelligent automation. You will spearhead the integration of advanced predictive systems and cognitive networks into large-scale backend infrastructures, directly influencing how global organizations process complex human capital operations.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive comprehensive business requirement sessions, translating complex operational needs into highly scalable technical architectures for internal payroll and workforce platforms.

  • Align development lifecycles with global offshore engineering teams, guaranteeing strict adherence to architecture designs, execution strategies, and project milestones.

  • Engineer intelligent algorithms and cognitive solutions directly into enterprise Java ecosystems to elevate automated staffing and workforce analytics.

  • Create dynamic, intelligent capabilities including predictive analytics, smart search, conversational chatbots, and intelligent recommendations utilizing Generative AI, LLMs, and specialized AI APIs.

  • Construct resilient, high-performance backend services powered by Java 21 and Spring Boot 3.3, heavily emphasizing robust RESTful APIs and Microservices Architecture.

  • Collaborate closely alongside data scientists and machine learning engineers to successfully deploy, monitor, and tune predictive models within live production environments.

  • Develop highly responsive, cross-browser compatible user interfaces using Angular to ensure a frictionless and intuitive end-user experience.

  • Administer secure cloud deployments and continuous delivery pipelines utilizing Docker, Kubernetes, and major cloud providers like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

  • Maximize database transaction speeds and design sophisticated schemas spanning relational databases like MySQL and PostgreSQL, alongside unstructured NoSQL Databases such as MongoDB.

  • Resolve intricate technical roadblocks across the entire full-stack ecosystem while upholding rigorous code quality and performance standards.

What You Bring

  • Deliver 8+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Java Developer, highlighting recent, impactful work within payroll, staffing, or workforce management systems.

  • Utilize deep technical expertise in Java 21 and Spring Boot 3.3 to successfully engineer and scale resilient, enterprise-grade software platforms.

  • Apply 2+ years of practical, hands-on experience with Machine Learning Integration, demonstrating a strong command of modern AI Frameworks and tools.

  • Architect seamless frontend user experiences by leveraging deep proficiency in Angular, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript or TypeScript.

  • Showcase a proven track record of incorporating Generative AI and LLMs directly into commercial business applications.

  • Implement core best practices across RESTful API Design, Microservices Architecture, and advanced cloud deployments utilizing AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

  • Manage modern software deployment life cycles using CI/CD Pipelines, Docker, and advanced containerization technologies.

  • Optimize complex data storage solutions and query schemas across relational databases like MySQL and PostgreSQL, as well as NoSQL Databases such as MongoDB.

Compensation & Total Rewards

  • Pay Range: $50 - $60 / hr

  • Employment Type: 6-12 months contract (W2 employee only; no C2C or subcontracting)
