Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior DevSecOps ISSO to join our team! In this role you will support and maintain the cybersecurity posture of information systems, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and implementation of security controls to protect system integrity.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Provide expert guidance on secure design and threat modeling while driving the full vulnerability management lifecycle from triage and risk analysis through remediation validation.
  • Provide Strong knowledge of federal regulations such as NIST 800-181 and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Identify, investigate, and escalate cybersecurity incidents using structured response methodologies that ensure timely containment, effective resolution, and compliance with reporting protocols.
  • Provided skilled application of structured response methodologies to minimize impact and strengthen organizational resilience.
  • Apply configuration management tools and practices to maintain system integrity, enforce secure baselines, and ensure alignment with federal cybersecurity requirements across all phases of the system lifecycle.
  • Implement and manage security technologies, including monitoring tools, endpoint protection, IAM systems, vulnerability scanners, and threat intelligence platforms to enhance security posture.
  • Document and communicate technical findings, risk posture, and strategic recommendations to developers, architects, and executive government leadership.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:
  • Minimum of 12 years' experience with bachelor's degree or 10 years' experience with master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering, or related discipline from an accredited college or University
  • Active TS/SCI + CI Polygraph
  • CISSP or Active DoD IAM and/or IAT Level II/III
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct risk assessments and support vulnerability management activities
  • Exceptional organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail in documentation and reporting

Security Clearance Requirement:
An active Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph security clearance is required for this position.

Salary Range: $125,100.00 - $225,200.00
