IOS Developer (Ex-Apple)

Position 2: Job title: iOS Developer (Ex Apple required)

Location: Austin, TX (3 days in the office)

Compensation:$125000 to $130,000

Key Responsibilities

• Write highly optimized Swift and Objective-C code to build robust, end-to-end iOS applications, frameworks, and tools from the ground up.
• Architect and implement complex sample projects and SDKs that demonstrate the absolute correct way to utilize new operating system APIs, frameworks, and hardware features.
• Spend significant time in Instruments and LLDB diagnosing memory leaks, race conditions, and rendering bottlenecks.
• Write multi-threaded, highly concurrent code using Swift Concurrency and GCD. Optimize rendering pipelines and data layers to achieve zero-latency performance under extreme loads.
• Build aggressive stress-test applications to validate the stability, security, and ergonomics of first-party APIs.
• Conduct meticulous code reviews. Enforce an uncompromising standard of code quality, modularity, and strict adherence to memory management and threading rules.

Minimum Qualifications

• 10+ years of continuous, heavy hands-on software development experience, exclusively focused on iOS/Swift application engineering.
• Highly skilled in Swift and Objective-C. You must be able to seamlessly bridge the two and deeply understand the compiler, runtime, and memory models of both.
• Proven hands-on experience building complex UI and logic using SwiftUI, UIKit, Core Data, and Core Animation.
• Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, system design

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with lower-level frameworks (e.g., Metal, CoreAudio, Network.framework).
• Strong proficiency in C or C++ and integrating it.
• A portfolio or GitHub profile showcasing complex, beautifully architected, and highly performant personal projects or open-source contributions.
