Cloud Program Manager-SME

Job location: Washington, DC (Remote)

Introduction

As a Cloud Program Manager-SME, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing cloud strategy, migration assessments, infrastructure, and managed services. Your expertise in program management and regulatory compliance will be essential in driving performance improvements and ensuring successful cloud adoption in the federal government.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a subject matter expert in Cloud Strategy, Migration Assessments, Infrastructure, and Managed Services
  • Deliver comprehensive program management services for planning, managing, and implementing cloud initiatives
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among stakeholders to enhance service efficiency
  • Coordinate with cloud stakeholders to onboard new customers and provide recommendations for successful implementation
  • Ensure alignment with business strategies through governance structures and compliance with industry standards
  • Drive performance improvements by integrating emerging IT solutions and strategies
  • Define and manage resources and schedules to ensure timely program implementation
  • Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively address project issues
  • Champion cloud services implementation across the federal government enterprise
  • Evaluate processes for automation opportunities to drive efficiency and cost avoidance

Requirements

Qualifications and Special Knowledge Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and ten years of relevant experience, with at least five years in cloud-based programs
  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM field required, Master’s or Ph.D. preferred
  • PMP or equivalent certification required, PgMP certification preferred
  • Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
