Job Description:At Disney Experiences Technology, our team creates world-class immersive digital experiences for the Company’s premier vacation brands including Disney’s Parks & Resorts worldwide, Disney Cruise Line, Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, and Disney Vacation Club. The Disney Experiences Technology team is responsible for the end-to-end digital and physical Guest experience for all technology and digital-led initiatives across the Attractions & Entertainment, Food & Beverage, Resorts & Transportation, and Merchandise lines of business as well as other initiatives including the MyDisneyExperience app and Hey, Disney!
This role sits in the Retail, Restaurant, and Supply Chain Technology organization within Disney Experiences Technology and will focus on Disney’s Dine and Experience Reservation ecosystem, with primary responsibility for DineEx AIC (Authorized Inventory Controller). It works closely with cross-functional partners—including Technology Engineering, Revenue Management, Finance, and Operations—to support the definition and execution of product roadmaps, translate business needs into clear requirements, and help measure outcomes for Guest- and Cast-facing initiatives. They will contribute directly to the delivery of technology products across Disney’s Retail and Food & Beverage businesses, ensuring alignment with business priorities and an exceptional Guest experience.
What You’ll DoProduct Ownership and Execution - Contribute to and execute against the product roadmap by aligning business needs, Guest experience goals, operational requirements, and technical feasibility.
- Gather, document, and refine product requirements; define acceptance criteria; and maintain a prioritized backlog in partnership with business stakeholders and Engineering.
- Oversee the agile delivery of product enhancements from requirements through QA, release, and post launch evaluation.
- Monitor product health, system performance, and operational usage to ensure reliability and scalability in high volume restaurant environments.
- Define and track measurable outcomes related to Guest satisfaction, Cast efficiency, throughput, and operational performance.
- Analyze data, Guest feedback, and operational insights to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Partner with internal technology teams and external vendors to prioritize defect resolution and incremental enhancements.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Partnership - Work closely with Engineering to understand system architecture, integration points, and technical constraints, ensuring solutions meet product objectives.
- Collaborate with Operations Integration, Site Operations, Marketing, Consumer Insights, Analytics, and Finance to ensure alignment and successful execution.
- Assist in estimating development effort, quantifying value, and supporting planning and funding discussions.
Team Contribution and Communication - Communicate effectively through written documentation, presentations, and verbal updates to stakeholders across multiple levels of the organization, from individual contributors to executives.
- Support feature launches with go to market planning, user acceptance testing, training coordination, and stakeholder communications.
- Support other product managers and business partners through knowledge sharing and day-to-day collaboration.
Technical Product Ownership - Partner closely with Engineering, Architecture, QA, Operations, and Support teams to understand system dependencies, integration points, data flows, API interactions, and technical constraints.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and stakeholder-ready communications.
- Evaluate solution options and technical tradeoffs, balancing Guest experience, Cast usability, scalability, resiliency, operational support, and delivery complexity.
- Support production readiness by helping define monitoring expectations, defect triage processes, release risks, support needs, and postlaunch success measures.
Required Qualifications & Skills - 4–6 years of experience in product management, digital, or technology focused roles.
- Demonstrated experience managing digital products through the full product lifecycle.
- Experience documenting technical requirements, nonfunctional requirements, operational readiness needs, and acceptance criteria for complex technology products.
- Experience working in Agile development environments, including proficiency with tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into product decisions.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across cross functional teams in a matrixed organization.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create clear documentation, present product updates, and inform stakeholders of current issues.
- Experience using AI productivity tools, including Claude, to improve product management workflows such as requirements analysis, backlog refinement, documentation, prototyping, stakeholder communication, and synthesis of operational insights.
Preferred Qualifications - Experience with data and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Business Objects) is a plus.
- Experience supporting Food & Beverage, retail, or hospitality technology products is a plus.
Education - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
