What you will do:
We are looking for a QUALITY ASSURANCE (QA) STRATEGY LEAD who can help shape our vision and support our mission. Here is what the position will look like.
- Develop and maintain the enterprise QA strategy, establishing standardized testing methodologies, quality benchmarks, and risk mitigation practices across all platforms and initiatives.
- Lead end to end QA and UAT planning and execution for enterprise application initiatives, ensuring test scope, acceptance criteria, and environments are fully prepared before testing begins.
- Oversee daily testing operations, monitor progress, resolve blockers, and escalate risks early to ensure readiness for deployment and successful project outcomes.
- Review and evaluate vendor led testing strategies, scripts, and results, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and holding partners accountable for quality and timelines.
- Provide quality oversight across technical and business workstreams, ensuring delivered solutions meet functional, operational, and regulatory requirements prior to release.
- Develop, manage, and maintain core QA documentation, including high level test strategies, QA project plans, test case repositories, UAT playbooks, and readiness tracking materials.
- Produce clear and actionable quality reporting, such as testing status updates, dashboards, defect summaries, and go live readiness assessments for leadership and stakeholders.
- Facilitate cross functional collaboration, leading testing workshops, defect triage sessions, and UAT activities with business owners, SMEs, and operational teams.
- Drive testing readiness and launch preparation, communicating risks, gaps, and outcomes while validating that all quality gates are met before recommending production deployment.
- Advance quality maturity through continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance processes, expand automation, improve tools, and elevate user experience in testing cycles.
What you will bring:
- Minimum of 8 years progressive experience working in software testing, quality or delivery roles with a minimum of 3 years leadership experience. Experience in healthcare QA is highly desired.
- Must have hands on QA and UAT experience supporting ACA Marketplace / Exchange systems, including eligibility, enrollment, integrations, and regulatory release cycles.
- Must have ability to design test strategies across multiple systems, including knowledge of testing in CRM, UX, UAT, Automated testing, manual testing and specific external portals, such as member/provider portals and medical billing platforms testing.
- Proven ability to create and improve QA strategy.
- Position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint) with the ability to work with a variety of testing and project management tools.
- Must possess HIPAA knowledge.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects with tight deadlines.
- Ability to facilitate large testing meetings with technical SMEs as well as COA business partners.
Education: Bachelor's degree in information technologies or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
