We are seeking a dynamic, innovative, and experienced professional to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing, managing, and leading controls engineering projects. Responsibilities:
As a Controls Engineer, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Designing and programming control systems for complex engineering projects.
2. Interpreting and utilizing electrical schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate project completion.
3. Utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM) in the design and implementation of projects.
4. Leading and managing project teams to ensure timely and efficient project completion.
5. Communicating effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives and expectations are met.
6. Providing customer-facing services, including project updates and technical support.
7. Collaborating with other engineering teams to integrate controls into overall project design.
8. Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to control systems.
9. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and standards.
10. Ensuring all work complies with relevant health and safety regulations and quality standards.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the Permanent Controls Engineer position, you must possess the following:
1. A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the engineering industry.
3. Proven experience in designing and programming control systems.
4. Proficiency in interpreting and utilizing electrical schematics and blueprints.
5. Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM).
6. Strong leadership skills with experience managing and leading projects.
7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively.
8. Exceptional customer-facing skills, with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
9. The ability to work effectively in a team, as well as independently.
10. Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on innovative and effective solutions.
11. The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a focus on detail and accuracy.
12. A commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
