Senior Software Engineer

Role Overview

Our Client is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help execute unified technology strategies across our software delivery teams. In this role, your primary focus will be designing and developing reusable software components, modular architectural patterns, and specialized tooling to optimize development cycles.

You will directly influence engineering behaviors and team standards through active participation in collaborative design sessions and hands-on code reviews. Your contributions will serve as a foundational element in achieving our core engineering milestones and driving long-term strategic platforms forward.

Key Responsibilities

• Full Lifecycle Engineering: Design, develop, test, deploy, monitor, maintain, and continuously optimize software applications using modern delivery frameworks.
• Product Translation: Convert high-level product concepts into clear project milestones that regularly provide high-quality, incremental value to end users.
• Team Mentorship: Actively guide and upskill members of the engineering team by providing constructive feedback during code reviews and interactive design deep dives.
• Cross-Team Tooling: Architect shared libraries, core components, and automated utilities that resolve cross-cutting development challenges across teams.

Technical Profile & Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years of professional software engineering experience writing production-grade code.
• Core Languages: Strong proficiency in either JavaScript or .NET Core, alongside a proven willingness and ability to adopt new programming stacks quickly.
• Core Fundamentals: A comprehensive understanding of modern engineering principles, including automated testing, code reviews, system telemetry, iterative delivery, and DevOps methodologies.
• Technical Breadth: Direct working experience with at least three or more of the following specialized technical domains:
• Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
• REST API design and development
• Serverless architectures
• Containerization and microservices orchestration
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Public cloud platforms
• Application observability and infrastructure monitoring tools
• Messaging, streaming, or event-driven architectures
• Architecture: Proven experience delivering production applications built on componentized, microservices, or distributed system architectures.
• Communication: Demonstrated ability to articulate complex technical ideas effectively to both technical teams and non-technical global stakeholders.
• Innovation Mindset: An inquisitive nature combined with an openness to exploring advanced capabilities and automated workflows to reduce system friction.
