Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced CIAM Engineer to design, implement, and support customer identity solutions for web, mobile, and API-based applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Ping Identity and/or Strivacity, along with expertise in authentication, authorization, federation, and customer registration journeys.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure, implement, and support enterprise CIAM solutions using Ping Identity and/or Strivacity.
  • Onboard customer-facing web, mobile, and API applications onto CIAM platforms.
  • Implement and manage authentication and authorization solutions using SSO, MFA, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and SAML.
  • Design and support customer registration, login, password management, profile management, and identity lifecycle workflows.
  • Troubleshoot authentication, federation, and access-related issues across applications and platforms.
  • Collaborate with application teams, security teams, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver secure and scalable identity solutions.
  • Support platform upgrades, enhancements, integrations, and ongoing operational activities.
  • Develop technical documentation, onboarding guides, and integration standards.
Required Skills
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in IAM/CIAM Engineering.
  • Strong experience with Ping Identity and/or Strivacity platforms.
  • Deep understanding of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), SAML, JWT, and SCIM.
  • Experience integrating applications using REST APIs and identity protocols.
  • Experience with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ping Identity certifications are highly preferred.
  • Experience with customer identity lifecycle management and adaptive authentication.
  • Prior experience in Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance environments.
  • Strong understanding of CIAM security best practices and customer experience optimization.
