Summary

We are seeking an experienced Software Solutions Architect (Rhapsody Developer & Administrator) to support the design and implementation of enterprise-level healthcare integration solutions. This role will focus on enabling message tracking, interface development, and system integration within a Health Enterprise Service Bus (HESB) environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop solutions for new healthcare integration use cases

Develop interfaces based on business and technical requirements

Create technical specifications and system design documentation

Develop custom filters using Rhapsody Developer Kit (RDK)

Create mappers and mapper definitions using EDI message designer

Write JavaScript code using Rhapsody JavaScript v1 & v2 filters

Develop and consume SOAP & REST APIs

Perform data format transformations (HL7 v2, HL7 v3, FHIR, CCDA, XML, JSON, flat files)

Work on CDA mapping and conversions

Prepare SDLC documentation and support code reviews

Develop and manage database connections (MSSQL / Oracle)

Configure TCP, HTTP, LLP, OAUTH connections

Ensure secure data transport (TLS, certificate-based authentication)

Provide system oversight and integration guidance to cross-functional teams

Responsible for overall system design, code quality, and configuration

Required Technical Skills

Strong JavaScript programming

SQL

XML

HL7 v2.x messaging

HL7 FHIR

CDA standards and related document types

Healthcare vocabularies: LOINC, SNOMED, RxNorm

Health Information Exchange (HIE) technologies

Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE)

Experience implementing solutions based on healthcare Implementation Guides

Preferred / Desired Skills

Experience with Health Rhapsody Integration Engine (7.x)

Strong experience with Rhapsody Developer Kit (RDK)

Custom payload translation (JSON, XML, HL7 to proprietary formats)

Experience with SOAP, REST, OAUTH, TCP, LLP connections

Transport encryption/security (TLS, mutual certificate authentication)

Experience in enterprise healthcare integration environments
