Summary

Expert Cyber Risk Management Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Risk Management Engineer to assess and enhance enterprise information security solutions and services. This role focuses on evaluating cybersecurity capabilities, analyzing risk exposure, and recommending improvements to security processes, technologies, and governance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate enterprise security solutions including authentication/authorization, PKI, data loss prevention, third-party risk, and security event analytics.

  • Conduct cyber risk assessments and recommend improvements to security controls and risk management capabilities.

  • Develop frameworks, documentation, and processes to support cybersecurity assurance services.

  • Collaborate with security teams, enterprise architects, legal, compliance, and audit groups to ensure regulatory and policy alignment.

  • Track risk issues, monitor remediation progress, and report status to stakeholders and leadership.

  • Communicate cybersecurity risks and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Support development of cybersecurity policies, standards, and security-enabled processes across technology teams.

  • Stay current on emerging threats and recommend improvements to strengthen the organization s security posture.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience with Azure and Oracle public cloud environments.

  • Ability to develop IT strategies, technology roadmaps, and technical recommendations.

  • Knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and ability to manage multiple initiatives.

  • Military service or experience supporting defense or government clients is preferred.
