Job Responsibilities

iOS Development

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance iOS applications using Swift and Objective-C.

• Build scalable mobile solutions following modern mobile architecture patterns such as MVVM and MVVM-C.

• Integrate iOS applications with backend APIs, third-party services, and microservices architectures.

• Ensure applications comply with healthcare data security standards including HIPAA and PHI/PII protection.

• Implement data synchronization, caching, and offline functionality using NoSQL databases such as Couchbase or MongoDB.

• Optimize mobile applications for performance, responsiveness, and scalability across iOS devices.

• Collaborate closely with Product, UI/UX, Backend, and QA teams to deliver new features and enhancements.

• Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of existing mobile applications.

• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical design sessions.

• Mentor junior developers and contribute to mobile platform best practices and engineering standards.

Backend / API Development (Node.js)

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js with TypeScript/JavaScript.

• Implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs for mobile and web applications.

• Develop event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka for real-time messaging and streaming.

• Work with NoSQL databases such as Couchbase and MongoDB, including schema design, optimization, and migrations.

• Implement secure authentication and authorization frameworks including OAuth2 and SSO.

• Ensure system reliability using observability tools including logging, monitoring, and tracing.

• Deploy and manage applications using Docker, Docker Compose, and Kubernetes.

• Manage infrastructure and deployments in Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) and Anthos environments.

• Follow coding standards, including ESLint, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.

Required Skills / Mandatory Skills

Mobile Development

• 8+ years of iOS Development experience

• Strong expertise in Swift and Objective-C

• Experience with UIKit, Core Data, Core Animation, and iOS SDK frameworks

• Experience implementing MVVM or MVVM-C architecture patterns

Backend Development

• 6+ years of Node.js development experience

• Strong experience with TypeScript / JavaScript (ES2019+)

• Experience building REST APIs and GraphQL services

Databases

• Experience with NoSQL databases (Couchbase, MongoDB)

• Knowledge of relational database design and SQL

Cloud & DevOps

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform)

• Containerization using Docker and Kubernetes

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git

Event Streaming

• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka

Healthcare Domain (Highly Required)

• Experience building healthcare or medical applications

• Familiarity with HIPAA compliance, PHI/PII data protection

• Experience with HL7 or FHIR healthcare interoperability standards

Security

• Knowledge of secure data handling, encryption, and authentication frameworks (OAuth2, SSO)

Methodologies

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments

Nice to Have
