Job Overview: The Business Analyst Iwill play a critical role in driving the identification of requirements across business units and evaluating substandard systems processes through real-time data analysis. This position requires a hands-on approach to business analysis, translating requirements effectively to stakeholders, and working in an Agile environment. The role involves creating functional requirements, process modeling, and ensuring seamless communication across teams to optimize systems integration and productivity.
Responsibilities: - Create and implement precise management plans for every project with transparent communication at all levels.
- Perform thorough quality assurance evaluations at every stage of systems development.
- Determine and develop user requirements for systems in production to ensure maximum usability.
- Partner with stakeholder teams across business units to develop necessary analysis and documentation collaboratively.
- Evaluate, analyze, and communicate systems requirements continuously, maintaining systems processes and delivering monthly status reports.
- Author and update internal and external documentation, formally initiating and delivering requirements and documentation.
- Conduct daily systems analytics to maximize effectiveness and troubleshoot problems.
- Develop meaningful and lasting relationships with partners for optimized systems integration.
- Respond to questions and concerns from managers and executives with supporting research and recommendations.
Qualifications: - Technical degree or related work experience.
- Proven experience in analytics and systems development capacity.
- High proficiency with SQL language and database management.
- Proven analytical abilities and practical experience generating process documentation and reports.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Experience working with Business Objects.
- Knowledge of ITIL Foundations.
- Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies, ADO Jira, and SCRUM practices.
- Proficiency in Visio for creating process flows.
- Basic understanding of APIs and designing workflows (preferred).
- UX-heavy experience to evaluate designs and break them down into functional requirements (preferred).
- Agile or Scrum certification (preferred).
- Airline industry experience (preferred).
