We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated CNC Programmer to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent, full-time position with relocation provided. The successful candidate will be a key player in our manufacturing operations, responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts. The role demands a strong understanding of machine mechanics, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality products. Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement CNC programs for various types of machinery, including mills, lathes, and tool and die machines.
2. Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines.
3. Supervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make necessary adjustments to produce a better result.
4. Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet requirements.
5. Analyze and select appropriate cutting tools for various machining operations.
6. Collaborate with engineers and machinists to optimize workflow and improve manufacturing processes.
7. Troubleshoot and resolve machine-related issues to ensure optimal performance.
8. Maintain a clean and safe workspace, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
9. Continually update job knowledge and learn about new machining technologies and techniques.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a CNC Programmer in the manufacturing industry.
2. Proficient in using CAD/CAM software, specifically CATIA and Vericut.
3. Extensive knowledge of machine operation and maintenance.
4. Expertise in reading and interpreting technical blueprints and designs.
5. In-depth understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
6. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical problems.
7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
8. High level of attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
9. Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
10. Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience is preferred.
