Byrum Heating & AC is looking for an experienced Commercial HVAC Lead Installer to lead commercial installation projects from start to finish. What You\'ll Do
You\'ll be the leader on the job site, setting the standard for quality, safety, and teamwork.
Your day may include:
- Leading commercial HVAC installation projects from kickoff to final startup.
- Installing and replacing rooftop units, split systems, furnaces, heat pumps, air conditioners, and duct systems.
- Reading blueprints, job specifications, and installation plans to ensure projects stay on schedule.
- Coaching and developing Install Helpers and Apprentice Installers.
- Verifying proper airflow, refrigerant charge, electrical connections, and overall system performance.
- Performing equipment startups, testing, commissioning, and final quality inspections.
- Communicating with customers, project managers, and team members throughout the installation process.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe job site.
- Completing installation documentation accurately and on time.
What Makes You a Great Fit
You\'re more than a skilled installer?you lead with confidence and take pride in doing things the right way.
We\'re looking for someone with:
- 4+ years of commercial or residential HVAC installation experience.
- Proven leadership experience managing installation projects and mentoring team members.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- EPA Certification (required).
- Valid driver\'s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work on rooftops, in mechanical rooms, attics, crawlspaces, and outdoor environments.
- Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and outstanding customer service.
