Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with 11+ years of experience to lead complex technology projects from initiation through successful delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in project planning, stakeholder management, Agile methodologies, risk management, budgeting, and cross-functional team leadership.

Required Skills

• 11+ years of experience in IT Project Management.

• Strong experience managing large-scale technology projects from initiation to completion.

• Hands-on experience with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.

• Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, resource management, and delivery.

• Experience managing cross-functional teams including developers, QA engineers, business analysts, architects, and technical teams.

• Strong experience with stakeholder and client management.

• Experience creating and maintaining project plans, schedules, status reports, RAID logs, and project documentation.

• Strong experience in risk, issue, dependency, and change management.

• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, or similar project management tools.

• Strong understanding of SDLC and software development processes.

• Experience managing project scope, timelines, deliverables, and priorities.

• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from planning and initiation through implementation and closure.

• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.

• Develop detailed project plans and track project progress against milestones.

• Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.

• Coordinate with technical and business teams to ensure successful project delivery.

• Conduct project status meetings and communicate progress to senior management and stakeholders.

• Manage project budgets, resources, schedules, and deliverables.

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.

• Work closely with Product Owners and Business Analysts to prioritize requirements and manage scope.

• Identify project blockers and drive timely resolution.

• Ensure project deliverables meet quality, compliance, and business requirements.

• Coordinate testing, deployment, release, and production-support activities.

• Prepare executive-level presentations, dashboards, and project status reports.

• Ensure effective communication across distributed and cross-functional teams.

• Mentor project team members and promote project management best practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with PMP, Scrum Master, or Agile certifications.

• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, MS Project, and Smartsheet.

• Knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

• Experience managing cloud migration, application modernization, data, infrastructure, or software development projects.

• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and modern software delivery practices.

• Experience working with globally distributed teams.

• Strong understanding of project governance, PMO processes, and delivery methodologies.
