Role: Senior Automation Engineer (PLC/ Robotics/ Automation systems) - (NIGHT Shift)

NOTE:
The hiring manager shared that he is open to a contractor who can work only nights: 7 PM 7 AM, 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 3 days off. There will be a shutdown period typically during Christmas where the contractor wouldn't be expected to work, but it's adhoc, usually 3 weeks (they would be at the standard rate during this time). During onboarding, typically the first 6 weeks, the candidate would start at the STD rate.

Experience with having worked on shift and open to 12 hour shift; PLC/ Robotics/ Automation systems. Life Sciences Manufacturing experience.

- The profiles we received previously were heavier on the validation side vs automation. Also, Life Science Manufacturing experience is mandatory.

Requirements:
Design, configure, and maintain PLCs, SCADA, DeltaV system.
Troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade existing control systems.
Provide technical support to customers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
Monitor and analyze system performance.
Ensure regulatory compliance with safety, environmental and quality standards.
Utilize best practices, standards and procedures related to automation systems maintenance.
Handle Change Control related processes and technical documentation, including design specification, user manuals, and operational procedures in.
Participate in project management and project coordination.
Support interfaces between Data Historians, Control Systems, MES
Maintain and update knowledge articles and databases to help troubleshoot problems quickly and effectively.
