This role is best suited for someone who enjoys digging into how things work and translating that understanding into clear, strategic patent protection. You will spend the majority of your time preparing and advancing patent work rooted in complex technologies. The environment is hands on and practical, with attorneys expected to take ownership of their matters rather than pass work downstream.

Job Details- Convert invention disclosures into well structured patent applications
- Navigate examination issues through written responses and examiner interaction
- Analyze technology to assess potential scope and positioning
- Coordinate directly with inventors and technical stakeholders
- Contribute to broader IP strategy discussions when appropriate
- Juris Doctor from a U.S. law school
- Active or eligible registration before the USPTO
- Between two and six years focused primarily on patent prosecution
- Undergraduate training in electrical engineering, computer science, or a close adjacent discipline
- Comfortable writing independently and managing multiple files at once
- Prior law firm or IP focused practice environment preferred
- Emphasis on thoughtful drafting over volume
- Consistent technical depth rather than one off matters
- Direct collaboration with senior practitioners
- Predictable workflow and long term client relationships
- Low ego, quality first culture
