Summary

Client is looking for a Technical Support Specialist to resolve issues related to desktop systems, hardware and software and other technologies to ensure high availability and optimal performance. Hands-on role looking for a solid IT background, 1-2 years of experience, and ideally some basic certifications.

Location: On-Site - everyday - Brandenton, FL
Compensation: $19-$21/hour
Duration: 12 months

Responsibilities:

Provide daily technical support, ensuring customer expectations are consistently exceeded.
Perform configuration, preventative maintenance, basic repairs, and inventory management for a wide range of equipment, including:

Desktops, laptops, mobile devices and printers
RF scanners, vehicle/cart-mounted computers
Zero and thin clients
Ticket/label printers, laser printers, and peripherals

Troubleshoot and resolve both simple and complex hardware/software issues.
Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages and ensure operational continuity.

Education & Experience

Associate or Bachelor''s degree in a related technology field preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Technical Support.

Technical Skills

Experience in preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and hardware/software repair in both deskside and remote situations.
General understanding of networking infrastructure (wired and wireless).
