We are currently seeking a remote Data Engineer with SQL and Insurance experience, that can work on a w2 contract. This role is remote but does require few very specific details. Candidates who apply without the desired skillset will be disqualified.
REQUIRED
- 4+ years in Data Engineer role
- Able to write efficient SQL Queries
- Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
- Experience with Git, dbt and snowflake.
- Experience with general Insurtech and agency management solutions.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform data analysis to understand business requirements and design solutions to meet needs.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ELT processes to support data integration and analysis.
- Ensure data quality and integrity by performing data cleansing, validation, and standardization.
- Assist with maintaining database architecture and data processing systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in data engineering or a similar role.
- Strong SQL background and ability to write efficient queries.
- Experience with general Insurtech and agency management solutions.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with Git, dbt and snowflake.
- Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with machine learning and data visualization tools
