Position: Oracle Fusion Accounting Hub + Cost Accounting Consultant
Location: Bay Area, CA

Work Arrangement: Onsite 3 days per week

 

 

Job Summary

We are looking for a senior hands-on Oracle Fusion Financials Consultant with 14+ years of experience and strong expertise in Oracle Fusion Accounting Hub, Subledger Accounting (SLA), and Cost Accounting.

The consultant will support Oracle Cloud implementation, integration, testing, and production stabilization activities and should be capable of independently handling complex functional requirements.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead hands-on Oracle Fusion Accounting Hub and Cost Accounting activities.

· Design and configure Subledger Accounting (SLA) rules, including:

o Account Rules

o Journal Line Rules

o Mapping Sets

o Description Rules

o Supporting References

o Accounting Methods

· Configure and support Cost Accounting, including Cost Organizations, Cost Books, Cost Profiles, Cost Elements, and Valuation Structures.

· Support accounting flows across Inventory, Procurement, Order Management, and General Ledger.

· Troubleshoot complex accounting, costing, reconciliation, and period-close issues.

· Translate business requirements into scalable Oracle Fusion solutions.

· Support SIT, UAT, integration testing, defect resolution, and production support.

· Work closely with business, technical, integration, and reporting teams.

· Support go-live and post-go-live stabilization.

· Prepare functional documentation and provide knowledge transfer.

· Mentor junior team members and provide functional guidance where required.

Required Qualifications

· 14+ years of overall Oracle ERP/Financials experience.

· Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials.

· Deep expertise in Oracle Fusion Accounting Hub and SLA.

· Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Cost Accounting / Cost Management.

· Strong knowledge of General Ledger and Inventory accounting.

· Experience with Oracle Fusion integrations involving Inventory, Procurement, OM, AP, AR, and GL.

· Strong understanding of financial accounting and costing processes.

· Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.

· Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.

· Ability to work independently in a senior consulting capacity.

Preferred

· Oracle Fusion Cloud implementation experience.

· Experience with Accounting Hub Cloud (AHC).

· Experience with complex SLA configurations and accounting transformations.

· Experience supporting large-scale Oracle Cloud implementations.

· Experience with go-live, hypercare, and production stabilization
