Job Description:

Apex Systems is looking to hire an ONSITE Logistics Analyst for our client based out of Hanahan, SC.

This assignment is anticipated to be a 12-month contract with strong potential for extension; however, Apex Systems cannot guarantee the length of this assignment.

This will also have a first-shift Monday-Friday schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Develop actionable analyses to improve productivity and operational efficiency
• Prepare operational analyses of services, projects, and general business functions
• Maintain and manage databases; extract data and build metrics and scorecards to measure and improve performance
• Research operational data including productivity, error trends, and root causes to identify issues across departments
• Create reports, graphs, charts, presentations, and documentation supporting analysis and recommendations
• Use internal systems, software, and reporting tools to support business decisions
• Perform supplier and location waste walks to identify cost-saving opportunitie

Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business, Supply Chain, or related field; equivalent work or military experience also accepted
• 1+ year of comprehensive supply chain or logistics experience
• Strong ability to prepare, import, and manipulate data in spreadsheets, databases, and presentations
• Experience extracting system data from SAP and using Excel/Access to develop reports
• Experience supporting Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), order management systems, and database environments
• Advanced Excel skills including macros
• Experience with SAP (preferred)
• Skilled in data mining, statistical analysis, and query creation
• Ability to develop solutions-based reports to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
• Basic understanding of warehouse operations and supply chain structures
• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
