MDCPS is seeking a highly skilled ADABAS Administrator to collaborate with other ADABAS administrators at MDHS to support MACWIS and other applications.

• 10+ years experience with Software AG products including:

  • ADABAS

  • Natural / Natural One

  • Predict, Construct

  • ADABAS Replication

  • Treehouse tcVision

  • WebMethods EntireX

  • CONNX SQL Gateway

  • ApplinX

  • Natural AJAX

• 10+ years experience in:

  • Analyzing user requirements & system design

  • Testing, implementation, and QA

  • Technologies:

    • ADABAS, Natural One

    • MVS/JCL

    • COBOL/CICS

    • VSAM

    • Linux/zLinux

    • Espsoft/SCL

    • Informix

    • UNIX

• 3+ years:

  • System architecture advisory

  • Documentation (procedures, policies, processes)

• 2+ years domain experience in:

  • SNAP / TANF

  • Eligibility systems

  • Economic assistance

  • Child welfare policies

  • State & federal mandates implementation (Linux systems)

• ADABAS Advanced (Required)

• Relational Databases Intermediate (Required)

• CICS, JCL, CA-7, VSAM Intermediate (Required)

• SDLC Intermediate (Required)

• Agile Intermediate (Preferred)

• Experience with Jira & KACE ITSM

• SCRUM / Iterative methodologies

• Legacy system modernization

• Child welfare systems & federal compliance
