Engineering Internship at Superior Metals Manufacturing - Summer 2027

• Work with Engineers: Assist with data collection, process trials, and developing new methods to improve operations.

• Analyze & Document: Review and summarize test results, maintaining meticulous records for easy review.

• Collaborate with Shop Floor Teams: Help create routings and process instructions, ensuring they are clear and up-to-date.

• Technical Writing: Prepare reports and technical notes to document process improvements and solutions to challenges.
\t
• Critical Thinking: Use your problem-solving skills to assist with root cause analysis and process improvements.

• Education: Must be pursuing a Mechanical, Electrical (Automation), Metallurgical, Materials, or Chemical degree from an accredited program - with at least 2 years of coursework under your belt.

• Skills: You know your way around Microsoft Office and are eager to learn.
\t
• Interpersonal Skills: You can communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with engineers and shop floor personnel.
\t
• Team-Oriented Mentality: You?re ready to work as part of a team, contributing your ideas and learning from others to achieve shared goals.

• Physical Requirements: Ability to handle light lifting (up to 50 lbs) and stand or walk for about half of your workday.
