Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Java Developer with 15+ years of hands-on experience in Java development to lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-scale applications. The candidate will be responsible for driving technical architecture, mentoring development teams, and ensuring high-quality software delivery while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-level Java applications.
Define and implement scalable system architecture and microservices-based solutions.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.
Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure best development practices.
Collaborate with product managers, architects, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Drive performance optimization, security, and scalability improvements.
Oversee application integration with third-party services and APIs.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments.
Participate in technical planning, estimation, and project delivery.
Ensure adoption of Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices.

Required Technical Skills

Strong expertise in Java (Core Java, Java 8+)
Extensive experience with Spring, Spring Boot, and Microservices Architecture
Experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs
Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Design, Design Patterns, and System Design
Experience with SQL databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra)
Hands-on experience with Kafka or other messaging systems
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized applications
Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.)
Strong knowledge of Git and version control systems

Cloud & DevOps

Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud platforms
Familiarity with infrastructure automation and deployment pipelines
Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools

Leadership & Collaboration

Lead and mentor development teams and junior engineers
Work closely with architects, business stakeholders, and product teams
Participate in technical decision-making and architecture discussions
