Job Description

Lead AI Engineer - Agentic & Generative AI
Bravotech, a leader in IT staffing and staff augmentation services, is seeking a Lead AI Engineer for a premier client in Dallas, Texas. This hybrid role (2-3 days onsite weekly) will lead the architecture, strategy, and delivery of enterprise Agentic AI and Generative AI solutions. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on technical leader with deep expertise in LLMs, RAG architectures, multi-agent systems, cloud-native platforms, and AI product development at scale.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define AI strategy, architecture, and technical roadmaps.
  • Design and deploy scalable AI platforms, agents, copilots, and RAG solutions.
  • Lead AI engineering teams through architecture reviews, mentoring, and code reviews.
  • Partner with product and business leaders to identify and deliver high-value AI initiatives.
  • Establish standards for prompt engineering, evaluation, monitoring, governance, and responsible AI.
  • Optimize AI performance, reliability, scalability, and cost.

Qualifications
  • 8+ years of Software Engineering, ML Engineering, or Data Science experience.
  • 3+ years of hands-on Applied AI/LLM development.
  • 2+ years in a technical lead or architecture role.
  • Strong experience building production AI systems using Python and cloud-native technologies.
  • Expertise with LLMs, multi-agent workflows, RAG architectures, vector databases, and AI evaluation frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
