Lead SmartCOMM Developer- Remote

Elite Technical is seeking a SmartCOMM Developer to support our client on a contractual basis. The selected candidate will:

Provide hands-on SmartCOMM configuration and development for complex templates, shared content components, business rules/conditionals, and XPath logic
Take primary responsibility for onshore SmartCOMM technical deliverables during critical release, go-live, and stabilization periods, coordinating closely with the engagement/business team and offshore contributors
Perform impact analysis and change planning for updates across large template inventories, including dependency assessment and regression considerations
Drive end-to-end delivery activities including solution design support, build/configuration, unit testing, SIT support, defect triage/resolution, and production readiness
Review offshore work products (code/configuration) and provide feedback to promote consistency with documented standards and quality expectations

Required Skills 

8-10+ years of hands-on SmartCOMM experience in enterprise CCM implementations
Strong SmartCOMM expertise in template configuration, shared content strategy, rules, XPath, and debugging/tooling
Proven experience with integrations and data mapping (e.g., JSON/XML/flat files) and connecting to core systems (e.g., Guidewire/Mainframe); exposure to Python-based services supporting SmartCOMM integrations is a plus
Demonstrated experience in legacy CCM to SmartCOMM migrations, including impact analysis, rationalization, and modernization approaches
Ability to operate independently as an experienced onshore technical contributor; nice to have: insurance domain experience (P&C/Life), SmartCOMM Cloud/PureCloud exposure, and prior go-live/hypercare support.
