Position: Design Engineer
Location: Nashville, Tennessee - (on-site)
Contract: 3+ months

Job Description:

Location: Elm Hill Pike in Nashville, Tennessee.
Contract Dates: September 14 – December 4, 2026
Hours: 40+ hours per week, with flexible arrival between 6–8 AM
Open Positions: 9

Key requirements:

6+ years of experience designing automated assembly systems
Advanced proficiency with SolidWorks (required)
Experience with Windchill (preferred)
Strong mechanical engineering and automation design knowledge
Experience with custom automated assembly equipment
Ability to independently own designs from initial layout through detailed component development
Strong understanding of mechanical principles and component selection
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal oversight
Experience participating in formal design reviews and incorporating technical feedback
Strong focus on design accuracy, manufacturability, safety, and project requirements.
