Required:

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years related work experience, with at least one year of IT service management experience.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• ITIL Foundation Certification
• Experience in IT systems, CMDB, data administration, or governance environments
• Data normalization experience and ability to maintain high-quality structured data
• Data governance experience, including policies, standards, and controls
• Ability to operate as a technical administrator while effectively communicating within a governance and process-driven environment
• Understanding of ITIL processes and service management concepts
• Experience or exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or similar)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and business stakeholders

Reason for Opening

• Existing governance coverage is insufficient for the growing scope driven by AI initiatives, additional data sources, and increasing governance requirements.

Primary Responsibilities

• Govern CMDB processes and standards.
• Reporting, analytics, dashboard creation, and data quality oversight.
• Maintain governance controls and data integrity.
• Support AI governance initiatives.
• Identify and automate manual governance processes.
• Partner with stakeholders to ensure proper onboarding and governance of new data sources.

Desired Background

• Strong ServiceNow administration experience.
• Familiarity with ITSM modules, CMDB, SAM, and HAM.
• Understanding of cloud, AI, infrastructure, and governance concepts.
• Knowledge of CSDM and IT service governance frameworks.
• Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.

Certifications

• ITIL Foundation is effectively a must-have unless the candidate has significant practical ITIL experience.
• ServiceNow System Administrator certification is highly desirable.

Overview what YOU will be doing:

• Own and maintain the ServiceNow CMDB, ensuring IT assets, applications, cloud resources, and infrastructure are accurately tracked and documented.
• Monitor data quality and governance standards, identifying and resolving inaccurate, duplicate, or missing information within ServiceNow.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and analytics to provide visibility into IT operations, asset management, compliance, and overall data health.
• Automate manual governance and tracking processes using ServiceNow workflows and platform capabilities to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, security, and business teams to onboard new data sources and ensure they are properly integrated into ServiceNow.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for ServiceNow governance, leveraging knowledge of ITSM, CMDB, SAM, HAM, CSDM, and ITIL best practices to support organizational compliance and operational effectiveness.
