Job Description
We are seeking a Network Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in SD-WAN deployment, Cisco routing and switching, and data center networking and a proven ability to deliver template-based configurations and manage SD-WAN controllers and analytics platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Deploy and configure Versa SD-WAN solutions across branch and data center environments.
- Implement and optimize Cisco L2/L3 routing and switching, including Nexus platforms.
- Integrate and troubleshoot Juniper and multi-vendor data center network technologies.
- Design and deliver template-based configurations using SD-WAN controllers, Versa Director, and Versa Analytics.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Hands-on deployment experience with Versa SD-WAN.
- Strong Cisco routing and switching skills (L2/L3), including Nexus and data center technologies.
- Proficiency with Juniper networking in data center environments.
- Experience with SD-WAN controllers, Versa Director, Versa Analytics, and template-based deployments.
- 4+ years of Versa SD-WAN deployment experience and 6-10 years of overall networking experience.
- A university degree is required.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with other SD-WAN solutions such as ACI, VeloCloud, or Fortinet SD-WAN.
- Industry experience in large-scale enterprise or service provider environments.
Additional Details:
- Hybrid role based in Houston. Local candidates are preferred, not mandatory.
- No vaccination mandate. No visa restrictions.
- Travel and expenses will not be reimbursed by the client.
