There is a requirement to occasionally work overtime to cover shifts, as colleagues take time off.
Windows Server Admin-L1
As an Administrator, you should be able to do system administration, Incident / problem determination and resolution on a 24x7 basis Incident, Problem, Change and Configuration management, Service incidents and queries within the agreed service levels. Perform Service Requests based on Standard Operating Procedures. Work on scheduled tasks as part of Change Management. Should be able to handle issues independently and suggest/ implement services improvements plans. Should be able to identify and highlight scope of automation to lead or Manager
Prefer someone that has familiarity with Logic Monitor, Big Panda, Autosys, ServiceNow tools.
Need experience in ISERIES
- Monitor backups and backup maintenance jobs on 40+ systems and record their start/end times.
- Perform restores and give users required access to their files.
- Monitors messages on all iSeries LPARs.
- Monitors all input/output of JOB QUEUE’S and OUT QUEUE’S.
- Request service for all iSeries related hardware equipment.
- Resolves end-user problems and promptly respond to customer emails and tickets.
Job will also require candidates to perform facility walkthroughs every 4 hours, provide data center access for vendors, and print invoices each day, and provide hands/feet support on the data centre floor.
