Summary
Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Business Analyst to support a complex Salesforce Public Sector Solutions implementation for a public sector permitting modernization project.
Responsibilities
- Lead requirements discovery sessions with business users, technical teams, and public sector stakeholders.
- Document current-state and future-state business processes for permitting, licensing, application intake, review workflows, approvals, document generation, payments, and reporting.
- Translate business requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, data mappings, and functional specifications.
- Support configuration design for Salesforce Public Sector Solutions, Experience Cloud, OmniStudio, Flow, and related Salesforce
capabilities. - Work closely with solution architects, developers, QA, and project managers to ensure requirements are understood and delivered accurately.
- Facilitate backlog grooming, sprint planning, requirement clarification, UAT planning, and defect triage.
- Support data migration and integration discussions, including mapping business data from legacy systems to Salesforce and external systems
- Assist with stakeholder communication, change impact assessment, and user adoption activities.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst on enterprise IT or CRM implementation projects.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience supporting Salesforce
implementation projects. - Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Public Sector Solutions, or OmniStudio.
- Strong ability to translate business needs into Salesforce user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with government, public sector, permitting, licensing, inspections, grants, or regulatory workflows.
- Experience with Salesforce Public Sector Solutions, OmniStudio, Flow, DocGen, or Business Rules Engine.
- Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Administrator, B
usiness Analyst, Service Cloud Consultant, Experience Cloud Consultant, or OmniStudio Consultant.
